Interior

Removing the side panel reveals the steel grey interior. The CPU duct is height adjustable... you simply twist it to thread the duct in or out and control how far it extends into the case. The card slots offer two removable covers while the others are snap-out plates. Traditional screws are used to secure your add-in cards. The rear exhaust fan is also 120mm. The I/O plate is an old layout not used by most modern motherboards. Both 5¼" and 3½" bays use screwless attachment plates to hold drives in place. Just turn the center latch 90° to unlock it, insert your drive, then reinsert the plate and turn the latch to lock it again.

The accessory boxes contain a manual for the included power supply, power cord, molded flat modular cables and an assortment of motherboard mounting posts and screws. The 120mm intake fan is mounted outside the case, hidden within the front bezel. This does eliminate potential problems like interference with drives/cables or the drive rails themselves when replacing the fan, however the stamped steel case front does present a significant airflow restriction. Bundled with our Grid case is the Ultra 700w XVS modular power supply. Although it does not offer multiple +12v rails, the high current ratings of 34A/30A/40A for the +3.3/+5/+12 should provide plenty of power for most computers. Perhaps the coolest feature of the XVS is the molded power cables.
