X-Pro Cables

From left to right, we have two 6-Pin PCI-E connectors, an 8-Pin 12v connector, 24-pin ATX power cable, one AST controlled CPU fan connector, two AST thermo-controlled chassis fan connectors, one PSU fan RPM monitor connector, eight 4-Pin Molex connectors, two 4-Pin floppy connectors and four SATA connectors.

While the power supply is technically SLI-Ready, that doesn't apply if you have a graphics card that requires two connectors. Those wanting to run SLI with high-end cards will need to use PCI-E adapters (not included) and thus, lose an additional four 4-Pin Molex connections. This is one of the few "modern" power supplies that I have seen with a single 24-Pin ATX cable... by that, I mean it is not backwards compatible with older 20-Pin motherboards. Also, the SATA connections were a bit sparse at only four.

Continue ahead as we take our first look at the X-Finity...
