The only failing I found was that Thermaltake doesn't include a type-I to type-L cable or a riser bracket in order to connect the Muse R-Duo to an internal SATA motherboard port. While many new cases have an eSATA jack and some new motherboards also provide this onboard, for the small cost of an adapter I would like to see this bundled with the device, especially considering its price.
I found the Muse R-Duo at several online retailers in the $170-$180 range which is a bit expensive compared to other external enclosures. There are many dual-drive boxes that support JBOD available for much less, so if RAID is not in your plans then you could definitely save yourself some dough. But for those looking for a RAID solution, the Thermaltake Muse R-Duo RAID is an excellent choice.
