The top panel can be removed by taking out three of the thumbscrews on the back, then sliding the cover to the rear. The panel is very sturdy (and heavy) and has eight attachment points along the frame rails. The remaining four thumbscrews hold the motherboard tray in place, which comes out with the riser slots and exhaust fans. The power supply bracket is a separate piece as are the drive cages and can be removed individually.

The accessories for the LANbox are relatively sparse, consisting of just the manual, mounting screws, adapter plate for the top 5¼" bay, a grommet for use with water-cooling tubing, a plastic motherboard standoff and a soft cleaning cloth. The manual is very detailed and includes pictures of each installation step.

Next up, installation.
