The ToughPower Grand is available in five different wattages: 650, 750, 850, 1050 and 1200. We have the 1050W model on hand today which by all accounts is complete overkill for the level of hardware we have to throw at it. Either way, we will get an opportunity to look at the features and build quality which remain the same across all models and hopefully determine if the ToughPower Grand is worthy for your next build.
The Grand 1050W arrived in the retail packaging above. The front of the box is mostly black with gold accents and a photo of the attractive power supply. Thermaltake notes their 7 year warranty and 80+ Gold rating across the front as well. Around back we find a breakdown of some of the unit's features and specifications as well as a guide showing the number of connectors per model. Below is a quick list of features of the 1050W borrowed from Thermaltake's website.
Let's move ahead and see what Thermaltake has in store with their Toughpower Grand series.
