Unboxing

Thermaltake has always done a really good job at packing their cases. I have seen many cheaper cases damaged in shipping due to poor packaging. This is never the case with Thermaltake and this time is no exception.

Out of the box, the case has good, even weight distribution. I don't care much for a front-heavy case as they are usually poorly constructed and won't support much more than their own weight. Once the plastic and foam is removed, we find the Element G swaddled in a blanket. It comes with it's very own dust-cover. Very classy.

Another thing I notice during the unboxing process is the lack of noise. This case feels extremely solid and I have yet to hear a single rattle.

First impressions are very important when it comes to cases. Form must follow function in order to have a complete package that you want to house your baby in. My first thoughts of this case were that it was very stout, yet a little plain. I like the door bevels and the overall length of the case. The red side trim really sets it off, and we will find it serves a dual purpose.
