Out of the box, the case has good, even weight distribution. I don't care much for a front-heavy case as they are usually poorly constructed and won't support much more than their own weight. Once the plastic and foam is removed, we find the Element G swaddled in a blanket. It comes with it's very own dust-cover. Very classy.
Another thing I notice during the unboxing process is the lack of noise. This case feels extremely solid and I have yet to hear a single rattle.
First impressions are very important when it comes to cases. Form must follow function in order to have a complete package that you want to house your baby in. My first thoughts of this case were that it was very stout, yet a little plain. I like the door bevels and the overall length of the case. The red side trim really sets it off, and we will find it serves a dual purpose.
