You will need to apply a fresh coat of your favorite thermal paste before mounting the heatsink. I used Arctic Silver 5, but the included paste should work just fine. At this point you need to decide which way you want to mount the cooler. You can have the fins on either side of the card; just pick which method will work best for your application. Next, prep the mounting bracket by screwing in the four included screws through the bracket then place the bracket over the base of the HR-03 Plus. Now, put the HR-03 Plus into place over the G80 core and slide the screws through the mounting holes in the card as shown above.





Next, use the four included rubber washers and place one over each screw. Next, prep the backplate by placing the thermal pad in the center of the brace and sliding it into place on the four screws.





Finally, use the four included screw caps and tighten them into place over each screw in an alternating pattern until all are tight. The end result looks pretty nice indeed. Move ahead as we cover the fans used for testing and get some temperature and overclocking results from the new cooler.
