Introduction

When the large blue box from Tagan showed up on my front porch, the first thing to grab my eye were the words, "First case with enormous 360mm fan". Yes you read that right, 360mm. As in, three times the size of a standard case fan. Over a foot in diameter. From the looks of the picture it takes up nearly the entire side panel opening. Then I noticed the front of the case and what appeared to be a jet engine intake at the bottom. That would be the second fan, a 250mm one. This case oughta move some serious air!

It wasn't until I went to move it inside however that I realized just how huge this case was. And it definitely has some weight to it too, 33 pounds according to the FedEx shipping label. That's easily half as heavy as most of the cases I review. Measuring 23" deep by 21" tall and 8" wide it's quite a bit bigger than your average mid-tower. It barely fit under my desk as I came to find out later. It comes shipped with the front of the case upright in the box, with soft foam endcaps on the top and bottom. A heavy sheet of plastic also covers the case to protect the finish during transit.

Continue as I take a look at the exterior features.
