There are several different options for installing the H20-320 Edge depending on your case layout, and many choices for upgrading the system to handle more than just CPU cooling. Swiftech includes very cool 3D models detailing a dozen different ways to install the kit along with the SolidWorks viewer which allows you to rotate, tilt and zoom in on any of the images. Each individual component is also labeled in the drawing when hovering the mouse over it, as shown in the center drawing above.
Combining the 3D models with a detailed guide that depicts each step of the installation, such as the Radbox assembly pictured above, Swiftech has really gone the extra mile to ensure their customers have as much information as possible to review before ever picking up a screwdriver or opening their case. I can just imagine the frustration of someone new to water cooling trying to decipher tiny black and white images provided in some other manufacturers so-called install guides.
Additionally, Swiftech has gone through the process of certifying specific case models from popular manufacturers for internal installation compatibility. In most instances, the double 220 series radiator will fit in any case that offers the dual 120mm openings in the top panel. In order to make the triple 320 rad work however requires a good bit of extra room, and only certain enclosures are capable of mounting the larger unit inside the case. Of course the MCRX20 can always be installed outside of the case using the supplied Radbox.
Let's continue ahead to installation.
