I was very excited to receive this MP3 player for review from Super Talent. You see, my daughter had been asking for an MP3 player for Christmas, and to be honest I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. She's only 8, and I wasn't sure she was quite responsible enough to handle a hundred dollar (or more) electronic gadget. I found some cheap foreign knock-off players at an online auction and purchased one, only to be disappointed with the display, functionality and overall quality. I guess you get what you pay for. I actually tried another unit, from a different seller, and was equally unimpressed. But faced with the option of trying to resell these and find something else, the timing on this review couldn't have been more perfect.

You may have heard of Super Talent before, they've been making computer memory modules for some time now and have recently branched into the overclocking sector. The Mega Screen is only one of several flash-based devices they offer such as USB drives and memory cards. When most memory companies are based overseas, it's refreshing to see a company that has headquarters and production facilities right here in the USA.
