Super Talent has always been a name synonymous with memory. After using Super Talent RAM in the past, I held high expectations for their new line of USB Flash drives: the Pico series. Measuring merely 1.50" x 0.50", the Pico is by far the smallest USB thumb drive I have ever used. This drive lends itself to being kept in your pocket, on a key-chain, or as I will be testing it, on a necklace.

When the Super Talent Pico drive arrived at my door, I was expecting maybe a 2 GB version to run some benchmarks on. Upon opening the box, I was surprised to find the Pico flagship: a 32 GB rugged, capless, and encrypted Pico-C Limited Edition which is the top-of-the-line unit in Super Talent's Pico series.

The box was simple, yet elegant, containing only the 24k gold-plated Pico drive and lanyard. Laser-etched on the front of the drive are the words "Super Talent 32 GB". All instructions for the drive are contained on-board the flash memory.

The AES-256 bit hardware encryption is a nice touch to keep your files secure. After five incorrect password attempts have been made, the drive will reformat itself, obliterating all information contained in the flash memory.
