True to its name, the mStation Orb is exactly that... with the exception of the flat bottom base. There are three sets of speakers in the front of the Orb: one facing perfectly straight and the other two are angled off to each side slightly. The speaker area has protective mesh over it, while the rest of the Orb is painted glossy white.
The mStation logo appears directly above the speaker area, with the remote sensor just above it. At the very top of the Orb, we find the docking port as well as the on-board controls. From left to right, we have a power LED, power button, volume decrease button, volume increase button, previous button, next button and a play/pause button.
Around back, we see a single speaker port, again covered with mesh. All of the Orb's connections are found at the lower back of the unit and consist of, from left to right, line-in port, USB port, Firewire port and the power port.
