The fourth quarter of every year is always a busy time for hardware review sites, as companies are set to release a ton of new products just in time for the holiday buying season. Whether it is an improvement on an existing product line or something totally new, you can expect to see a lot of innovative products during this quarter. Today we will be looking at a new product line from Ultra Products, dubbed Stackables. With this line, Ultra takes some familiar items (external hard drive enclosures, USB hubs and a card reader) and integrates each component to work together in a "stack" or independently from each other.



Ultra sent over four components from their Stackables line: Stackables 180-Watt Multi-Outlet Power Center, Stackables All-In-1 Card Reader & USB 2.0 Hub, Stackables 3.5" SATA Hard Drive Enclosure and the Stackables 3.5" IDE Hard Drive Enclosure. Each product arrived in its own individual retail package, all of which essentially use the same design.
