Most of the gains centered on efficiency improvements for mobile chips along with a nice boost to integrated graphics across the board. Despite the apparent lackluster demand at retailers however, we know our readers expect only the latest and greatest from us. As such we kick off our 2013 Haswell build where over the coming weeks we will be reviewing each new system component.
This is the third review in said series. In the event you missed them, we have already covered Kingston's HyperX 3K 240GB solid state drive as well as their HyperX Predator 16GB DDR3-2133 memory kit.
The case we were supplied with for this build comes to us from SilverStone in the form of their Temjin series TJ04-E Evolution. Although the TJ04-E has been out for over a year now, and the original TJ04 was released in 2004, this is our first exposure to SilverStone's Temjin mid-tower. What might arguably be considered a Lian-Li PC6/7 lookalike, the SilverStone TJ04/E has a similar clean and understated appearance that is sure to appeal to a wide audience. Quite a lot has changed in the PC world in the last decade so one must wonder, has SilverStone's venerable Temjin case undergone a true evolution to keep pace?
Join us as we take a closer look at the SilverStone Temjin TJ04-E Evolution case.
