I will be testing this drive against the recently reviewed Patriot Torqx 64GB SSD using the exact same system configuration.
Both drives were tested as the operating system drive running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It's my belief that most users buy solid state drives to run as operating system drives so I evaluate SSDs the same way.
OCZ has an excellent forum with many Windows 7 and SSD-specific tweaks but for the purpose of this review, I did not mess with any of those.
A quick check of the drive firmware in HD Tune reveals this product shipped with the current 1.5 version which supports TRIM.
Let's move ahead and check out the benchmark results.
