The VGA Booster comes in a full-color retail box that shows off pictures of the device as well as specifications. Even the separate cable box inside has color pictures of each included accessory. This consists of the power supply itself, power cord and PCI bracket/extension, 24-pin ATX adapter, two 6-pin PCIe cables, two 8-pin PCIe cables, two 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe adapters, mounting screws, cable management stick-ons and a small user manual.


The power supply is sized to fit in a standard 5¼" drive bay and has mounting holes in the side much like a regular optical drive would. There are two sets of holes to give you a choice of alternate mounting depths. The front panel features a smooth plate with the logo/name that stands out from the case to allow for an air gap from the top and bottom. The reason for this is the dual 40x40x25mm fans tucked into the front for cooling. The rear of the VGA Booster houses the 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe connectors, standard IEC plug socket and the switched signal control for turning the unit on and off with your main power supply.
