Much like the keypad on the front, the rubber side buttons work perfectly to control the Treo's volume and voice memo functions.
The right side features an external stylus holder. Upon first glance, I was a bit concerned that the stylus might fall out easily but that is not the case.
The bottom panel has a sealed rubber plug covering the charging and sync connections. Beside the rubber plug on the right side we see the mic.
