From the moment I laid my hands on the OtterBox, I couldn't help but think back to my younger years and my mother telling me time and time again, "Shawn, we can't afford to buy you expensive toys because you don't take care of them". While this was only partly true (the other being that we were just flat out poor), I eventually learned my lesson after ruining a couple of items that I paid for myself (FYI, R/C cars and snow don't mix). Anyway, the moral of the story: mom would be proud of me today.

Enter Otter Products, LLC, a company based in Fort Collins, Colorado that specializes in rugged, outdoor-style cases for all sorts of gadgets including iPods, laptops and strangely enough, even cigars. Today we will be looking at one of OtterBox's latest creations, the OtterBox 1920 Palm Treo Case.



Right away, it is clear that this is no ordinary PDA/phone case. The OtterBox is very large; bigger than any Treo case I have previously seen. Before we dig any deeper, let's take a quick look at the features list, borrowed from OtterBox's website.



Not mentioned in the above features list is the fact that the OtterBox 1920 is compatible with the Treo 650, 700w and 700p models. I will be using the 700p version during testing.
