Here we have the results from Sandra's Memory Bandwidth benchmark. The Reaper memory pulled ahead in this test but only by a very narrow margin: 17 MB/s Int and 9 MB/s Float.
In Sandra's Memory Latency benchmark, both kits turned in matching scores of 77 ns on the Latency test. The Reaper kit edged out the Corsair kit by 1.4 in the Speed Factor test.
Everest Home Edition is an older benchmark program but it still offers up plenty of useful information regarding memory performance. The first test of the series is Memory Read, where OCZ's Reaper kit took the prize by 38 MB/s.
Next up is the Memory Write test. OCZ is victorious here once again, pulling ahead of the Corsair kit by 44 MB/s.
Everest's Latency test shows the OCZ kit ahead by 1.2 ns. This differs slightly from the Sandra results that put the two kits even.
MemTach is the last benchmark that we tested with. The Corsair kit won in Analyze 1 by 3.1 MB/s but the OCZ kit took Analyze 2 by 1.1 MB/s.
Next up we do some overclocking and finish things up with a conclusion...
