NZXT is well known for their Crafted Series of computer cases, producing such hits as the Nemesis and the Guardian - the Transformer-ish case that put NZXT's name on the radar of millions of hardware / gaming enthusiasts worldwide. NZXT has since broadened their product line to target non-gamers as well. The Classic Series presents customers with a quality NZXT chassis without the added "bling". Face it, not everybody is into a flashy chassis. Today we will be taking a look at the NZXT HUSH, the latest offering under the Classic Series.



As the name suggests, the HUSH is designed with silence in mind. The front of the retail box shows both the silver and black versions. Each side has a list of specifications, with further features and a description on the back of the box. FedEx really did a number on this package, especially evident on the rear of the box. Let's hope nothing is damaged inside. Below is a complete list of specs and features, borrowed from NZXT's website.



The specs certainly point to a quiet case: only two cooling fans and noise reduction foam panels. Compatibility for dual 8800GTX cards in SLI is nice, but I wonder how well the HUSH will be able to handle that much heat. We shall soon find out. But for now, let's move ahead and take out first look at this new Classic Series midtower case...
