When it comes to housing your PC, there are many paths you can take. The computer case market is full of choices, from the flashy and bright to the low-key and elegant to the utilitarian. Sometimes it is hard to pinpoint a quality case for under $100, and almost impossible to find quality at a $50 price-point. Today I examine a diamond in the rough: the NZXT Gamma.


Not outwardly flamboyant, the packaging for the NZXT Gamma is some of the plainest I have seen. I almost expected to find a full-color box inside the plain brown cardboard packaging pictured, but this was not the case. Inside the seemingly generic box is the Gamma in its protective packing sufficient for shipping. It seems NZXT was cutting every possible corner to keep the cost of this case low without sacrificing the essentials, as the Styrofoam protection was still up to snuff.
