Here we get a look at the Cryo S in use with an MSI Wind U-100 10” netbook. As you can see, the cooler pretty much engulfs the netbook, but I think this makes for a nice working surface. The Cryo S also provides a good amount of elevation to the keyboard of the netbook, which makes typing a bit more comfortable in my opinion. I was a little unhappy that there was so much loose cabling as a result of my side-positioned USB ports.
This set of photos showcases the Cryo S with a Dell Latitude D420 laptop, which sizes up at 12.1”. As you can see, there is definitely room left over for the extra 3” to fit a 15” laptop, though I don’t have access to one at the time of the review. I didn’t have any trouble powering the cooler through USB with either laptop.
Testing just ahead.
