For the C14, Noctua uses their classic "C" shape cooler design, like the C12P SE14 we reviewed last year. Although both start with an all-copper base and six large heatpipes, the similarities pretty much end there. The C14 is taller, wider and longer than the C12, by about 15mm in every direction. Furthermore it completely separates the cooling surface from the base, utilizing the heatpipes and a support bar to help hold the weight of that immense swath of fins. Now attach a 140mm fan both above and below that, and what you've got is the biggest and only push/pull, top-down cooler design we've seen to date.
