Introduction

Today we are looking at two USB 3.0 devices from Mukii. One is a SATA/IDE to USB 3.0 adapter and the other is a hard drive dock with USB 3.0 interface. Mukii is a manufacturer I haven't heard of before, but they have a variety of products listed on their website. They literally offer everything from drive dock adapters to external drive enclosures and all things between.

We have seen a few different USB 3.0 devices lately as the market is slowly starting to transition to the 3.0 . Not too long ago I reviewed the Vantec NexStar SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter. It is fairly comparable to the Mukii adapter, but the layout is different and the USB 3.0 cable is not removable. We also recently reviewed the Thermaltake BlacX 5G HDD Dock here on OCIA.net. The aesthetic differences are pretty clear with the white verses black color and other styling elements, but both have support for both 3.5" and 2.5" drives.

Let's move ahead and take a closer look at both products from Mukii.
