The Mophie Juice Pack Plus arrived in a standard package showing the product on the front and listing the specifications on the rear. In the box is the case, USB-micro cable, and user’s manual. Depending on what sort of cables or adapters you carry along this might be convenient or just another cable you need to have. The case will eliminate the need for the iPhone cable end as the micro-USB adapter passes everything through along with charging the phone and case.
The case itself is surprisingly simple. On the bottom of the case we see where the iPhone plugs in and the speakers are redirected to the front. We can also see the four LED lights that indicate the remaining charge and a button to activate the LEDs. It lays almost flush, so you shouldn’t accidentally hit it too often.
The case includes pass-through buttons for volume control with an opening for the mute switch. On top is an opening for the headset / microphone and a pass-through power button. The only thing on the far right side is the micro-USB port for syncing and charging.
Now we are going to take a look at installing an iPhone 4 into the Mophie Juice Pack Plus.
