We now get our first look at the interior of the 972. As mentioned earlier, there is plenty of room to install a full ATX system in this chassis. Reusable expansion slot covers are used, as are two clear case / blue blade 80mm fans with cable sleeving. Both fans are 3-pin but come with pass-through 4-pin Molex connectors.
The MonCaso 972 supports up to four internal hard drives - two per drive cage. Each cage is held in place by three screws. Below the HDD cages is an optical drive cage, which is secured using four screws. You can also see two more passive cooling vents, one under each HDD cage.
Here we see the left side of the interior of the chassis. The dust filter covering the 80mm fan vent could be removed and replaced with a fan, granted you don't have any expansion cards occupying that space. That could do wonders to help cool a high-end video card, should you decide to make this a multipurpose HTPC / gaming system.
