We've reviewed two Moneual cases previously here at OCIA.net, the MonCaso 972 and 932, and found them to be very stylish and extremely rich on features. With touch screen LCD, front panel knobs and remote control, these enclosures look more like traditional home theater components rather than cases for computer parts. But today Moneual introduces a new line of micro-ATX cases, the MonCaso 600 series. Unlike their other offerings, the 600 is a slimline desktop model that can also work in a micro tower configuration.
Although the sample Y601W we received from Moneual Labs arrived in a plain brown box with only a label indicating a part number and color as a clue to what's inside, their retail packaging is a bit more decorative as can be seen in the photo above. At the time of review we had received promotional material describing some of the case specifications, however Moneual's website did not yet show the 600-series available in their product listing. What we do know is it's a steel micro-ATX case, roughly 17" x 14" x 4" and weighs 10 pounds, including power supply. It's available in either black or white with a choice of different faceplates. Let's open it up and have a look.
