The first photo above shows the cables that are hard-wired to the ModXStream. This includes a 6-pin PCI-E connector, 20+4 ATX connector and 4+4 CPU connector. The other cables (all modular) include six SATA connectors, four quick-release 4-pin Molex connectors, two floppy-style connectors, another 6-pin PCI-E connector and another set of 4+4 CPU connectors. All cables are sleeved in black mesh and are long enough to work in a full tower case.
A red flag was quickly raised here... only four 4-pin Molex connectors? Are you kidding me? This is the lowest number of available Molex connectors I have seen on a power supply in a long time, especially something as powerful as 780w. Anyway, let's move ahead and check out the testing procedures, analyze the results and wrap things up with a conclusion...
