Installing the Lapdesk consists of simply plugging the USB cable into your notebook. The Lapdesk supports Windows XP, Vista and 7 as well as Mac OS. I installed the Lapdesk on a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and didn't have any issues. The drivers installed automatically and after a quick reboot, I was in business.



As you can see, the 13" ThinkPad fit just fine on the Lapdesk with plenty of room to spare.


I also tried the Lapdesk with an Acer Aspire One 11.6" system as well as a Lenovo ThinkPad T510 which features a 15.6" display. As Logitech points out in the specifications, anything above a 16" notebook would be too large for the Lapdesk. Although something bigger could physically fit, the system would block the speaker ports.
