Conclusion

In-Win has incorporated several design features into the Metal Suit GD that I have not seen previously with other cases. The video card fan shroud, the fold-out hard drive cage, the side panel clasps and the anti-vibration drive rails are all unique features that I feel add greatly to the functionality of the case. There are also other features like the quick release fan brackets, the disconnect on the front panel wiring, the drive rail holding tray and the effective riser card latches that further enhance the user's experience with this case. All of these add up to a winning combination not seen on most mid-towers. These kind of accouterments are typically only seen on high-end full towers.

The black and silver color scheme on the outside is contrasted nicely by the bright yellow/green used in the fans and other trim on the inside. It's kind of a shame really that In-Win did not offer a side panel window to show off that interior.

I found the Metal Suit GD available online between $120 and $140 which is sort of pricey for a mid-tower case, but certainly not one with all these features. As I've said before, many of these you'd typically only find in a higher-end full tower, and some I've not seen implemented previously. All of this has given me new respect for In-Win and earned the Metal Suit GD mid-tower the OCIA.net Seal of Approval.
