The G35 comes with the headset, installation CD with instructions, and three different headband pads. The 10' USB cord comes with a strap that is attached to the cord for easy cable management.
The headset has a nice wide headband with G35 embossed in the top. The headband pads use two strips of Velcro to hold them in place. Each pad has a different contour to match your head's shape. The earmuffs have a nice thick padding around them which actually let your ear fit all the way inside.
The left side houses all of the controls for the headphones. It comes with three preset buttons that you can program to control a select list of programs. There is also a mute microphone button and a wheel for volume. The surround sound on/off switch is located on the backside of the left earmuff as well.
Each earmuff has an adjustable slider that ranges from 1-9. It makes a nice, satisfying click each time you change to a different number which I found handy with trying to make them even without taking them off your head. The earmuffs also swivel from side to side.
Next we look at the microphone and the software.
