Both series arrived in similar boxes with bright colors and pictures of the product along with specifications. The I series, which is the 2-bay unit, even has a window to show off the front of the actual enclosure. The N series incorporates a carry handle into the container.
Both series are packaged similarly as well, with bundled accessories consisting of a user manual, software CD, USB cable and power supply. The I series does have an extra front panel that can be swapped out, and the N series includes a base to stand the unit on its side for vertical placement.
Both products utilize an external power supply, with the I series touting a slightly bigger brick to handle the power requirements of dual drives. Both offer USB 2.0 connection only, and support SATA-I and SATA-II drives up to 1TB in size.
