First Look

Inside the retail package we find the cooler itself, two hardware baggies labeled "A" and "B", an installation guide and a case sticker. Inside baggie "B" we find self-adhering RAMsinks to use on the card in place of the stock solution.

The actual cooler consists of the central base and two fan housings. Heatpipes connect the base of the cooler to the two circular fan housings. Each blue LED cooling fan spins at 2500 RPM and produces 23.8 CFM.

A closer look at the fins on the DuOrb reveal tiny notches that you probably wouldn't notice unless you were looking for them. This is done to increase the surface area and ultimately, improve cooling performance. The copper base of the cooler is flat and smooth, although not very shiny or "mirror-like". As you can see, the DuOrb has a very low profile compared to the much larger HR-03 Plus.

Next up, installation...
