We got our first glimpse of Smooth Creations' work at the 2007 CES, where a few companies had commissioned them to create custom painted cases for their booths. Cooler Master had a few CSX cases on display that year, but honestly, I wasn't too terribly impressed by their chosen designs. That all changed this year, however, as Cooler Master had nearly 20 CSX cases on display at CES. It goes without saying that we were completely blown away by these cases. CSX had produced, by far, the best looking paint jobs that I have ever seen on a computer case.
Today we will be taking a look at a CSX case based on the Cooler Master Stacker 830 Chassis, named Wraith. The Wraith arrived in a huge brown box (46 lbs.) with a smaller CSX box inside of that. The brown box was filled with bubble wrap and foam end pieces to further protect the case within. The black CSX box is just a generic package, with no indication of which case is inside.
As mentioned earlier, this particular Wraith is based on the Stacker 830 chassis. Specifications on this case can be found below.
Continue ahead as we take a look at the included package contents.
