Installation

To install the Bluetooth adapter, insert the disc into your optical drive. Don't plug in the adapter yet.

When prompted, connect the Bluetooth adapter. After a minute or so, installation is complete and you are prompted to reboot.

Once your computer has restarted, you will see the window above, which is simply searching for any Bluetooth devices nearby. I closed out this window and opened the main Bluetooth control panel.

This window shows the current active Bluetooth connections and also allows you to make new connections, which I decided to do. I initially planned to connect to my iPhone, which did work, but after some research, I learned that the iPhone is severely limited in terms of Bluetooth functionality.

Luckily I had two Cirago adapters on hand, so I installed one with my desktop and the other with my laptop.

The adapter on my desktop had no problem finding the laptop, and vice versa.

With both adapters now connected, let's move ahead and do some data transfer testing...
