We have tested several new 800-series AMD motherboards
this year, like the MSI 890GXM-G65
and ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO
, both of which are fairly high-end computer parts
that offer top-of-the-line components, a variety of features for overclocking and the latest SATA and USB standards. Obviously however not everyone has or wants to spend $100+ on a motherboard, or is just looking for something basic that supports the latest AM3 processors but without all the other bells and whistles. Today we have an inexpensive 880G chipset board to review, the Biostar A880G+ from Computer Geeks
Over the last several years Biostar has been offering their upscale T-series of motherboards that feature better components and greater overclocking potential. Aside from the T in the model name, these T-series have also been distinguishable by their blue/orange/yellow color scheme, as opposed to the green/white/black of their standard models. Beginning this year it seems they have switched to using black/red/white for all of their boards, and the A880G+ looks very similar to the TA880G+ in appearance.
Join us as we take a closer look at the Biostar A880G+ motherboard.
