The MX 680 includes a wide array of cables, which all starts with the two hardwired cables mentioned earlier. For your video card needs, BFG Tech supplies one 6-pin PCI-E cable and two 8-pin (6+2-pin) PCI-E cables.
Also provided are three separate 4-pin Molex cables, each with a different wiring scheme. The first offers two 4-pin Molex and one floppy connector. The next cable houses three 4-pin Molex connectors and a floppy connector, while the final cable simply has two 4-pin Molex connectors.
Three SATA cables are included as well. Two cables offer two SATA connectors each, while the third cable has four SATA connectors.
All of the cables are covered in black mesh and each segment is fully sleeved, making for a nice uniform look. The ends of the cables are a little stiff, but really, what sleeved cables aren't stiff around the connectors?
That pretty much covers the unit itself and the included cable bundle. Move ahead as we install the unit in our test system and perform some voltage tests.
