First Look

The Barracuda HP-1 is a nice looking set of headphones.

They are made of a high impact plastic. Actually, they look like some kind of metal alloy.

The earpad is made of a velor-type material. I find this very nice, pads that are made of vinyl seal against my head and cause my ear channels to sweat, and I get swimmer's ear. They are extremely comfortable. They are also removable, which should allow some gentle hand washing...you can get pretty nasty during a 48-hour LAN. Hopefully, Razer will offer replacement pads.

The headpad is made of a very soft leather-like vinyl. Overall, the headset is of the highest quality.

Remove the earpad, and you can see that there are three drivers in each earpiece. Actually, there are four, one of them is coaxial. Very cool.
