Default MSI AM3 DDR3 nForce 750a

Just when things were looking pretty bleak for an AM3 nVidia chipset...

MSI shows its AM3 SLI motherboard

Two online retailers already have it listed in stock for ~$112, xpcgear.com and atacom.com, however both have poor resellerratings.

MSI has also posted on their global site another AM3/DDR3 nVidia board, the GF615M-P33. Strangely enough, it's based off the really old 6150 chipset, which was only AM2/HT 1.0 compatible? Why anyone would run a Phenom-II with DDR3 on an old 1000MHz Hypertransport bus is beyond me.

And yet another, the 980a-based MSI NF980-G65.

Thread's kinda old, but wanted to mention I just got an ASRock AM3 785G board. It uses the SB710 and integrated ATI 4300 graphics. The Egg has it for 85 bucks. I'll have a review on it in a week or two along with a Phenom II 720.

There are a plethora of AMD-based chipset boards that are AM3 (DDR3) and even some (I believe a Jetway?) that offer both DDR2 and DDR3.

Unfortunately the 3 MSI boards are still the only choices available for nVidia and AM3.

I was of course very interested in these boards because of running SLI GTX 260's, however it appears that I'll now be getting rid of all my nVidia stuff and going AMD/ATI.
