This year Data Drive Thru unveiled the iTornado, a device that simplifies and expedites the computer-to-computer file transfer process. Housing two retractable USB cords and a microcomputer within its spiral casing, the iTornado has the ability to transfer documents, pictures, and music instantaneously without the need to clutter both computers with software. A split screen-interface loads on both machines within seconds of plugging in the device. Through this display, the user is able to browse the contents of each computer and move any number of files between them, much like an FTP client.
Featuring an impressive 25 Mb/s transfer rate, the iTornado can move a large number of files in minutes.

The Tornado, iTornado's predecessor, debuted at last year's CES to the praise of audiences from numerous divisions of the tech industry. The device's NSTL technology (No Software To Load) won Yahoo Tech's “Last Gadget Standing” award, a prestige it shares with such heavy hitters as OnStar, XM Satellite Radio and the iRobot.
The iTornado improves on the original device in its ability to transfer between PCs and Macs as you may have guessed by its name. A growing number of computer users are switching from Windows to Mac and vice-versa. The iTornado makes the file transfer process pain-free. And to neatly wrap up any loose ends, it comes packaged with a copy of PC Eraser so that the user can wipe their old hard drive of any personal data before donating the machine or passing it down.
Data Drive Thru also announced their release of PC-to-PC File Transfer for Dummies, a lite version of the Tornado series featuring the same NSTL technology. It will have a price tag of $39.95

The iTornado will retail at $79.95 when it hits store shelves later this year. It is compatible with Windows 98SE all the way up to Vista. The Tornado is still available for purchase at $59.95.
