Tagan

Tagan has brought a new line of products to this year's CES. They were showcasing their most popular items: the El Diablo and Monolith case. A new case that has been released was also there, known as the Black Pearl. This case features an all aluminum chassis that has 15 drive bays, offering plenty of room for expansion. Featured in one of the cases was a 1,100w PSU that is ESA capable. ESA is a new technology that allows your PSU to talk to the rest of your components and determine how much power each needs. This is done through special chips integrated into the other components.

Tagan's other power supplies were on display as well. The ITZ models range from 700 - 1,300 watts and feature normal and turbo modes. In turbo mode, all six 12v rails are combined into one very powerful rail. The ITZ series includes two fans, one in the front and one in the back. The other PSU line, the BZ series, is a bit more expensive. These PSUs are modular and come in the same wattage as the ITZ models. There is only one 120mm fan on the bottom of this PSU. The modular cables come in a nice pouch that includes all of the cables and connectors and it even includes a pair of gloves so you don't get fingerprints on everything.

New products that haven't made it to the States yet are Tagan keyboards. These keyboards are stylish and serve two different purposes. The standard size keyboards are designed for gamers, with brushed aluminum and laptop style keys. The other is designed for the traveler. They are smaller and feature built in touch pads for an easy, on-the-go solution. The rubberized finish helps keep the keyboard in place and has a nice look. The gamer keyboards will possibly have the option for backlit keys.
