As you will see below, the RV03 comes with gold trim. The general conclusion we came up with is that it would be much snappier with a glossy black trim or silver trim. Metallic gold on plastic just isnt attractive to me, no matter how stylish everything is. That being said, the RV03 is definitely a case to see.
As with the other cases in the Raven series, the RV03 features the 90-degree turned mainboard, so all of your cabling comes out of the top as opposed to the back. In the third picture you get a better idea of the sort of cooling this case comes with. Air will be venting out of the top already with the turned mainboard, but with dual (slightly offset) AP181 fans sitting on the bottom, this case is ready to move some air. It also supports 120mm fan mounting either in front of or behind the 5.25 bays.
The first picture on the bottom row is what really snagged my attention for a couple of minutes on this case: back mounted hard drive spots with support for 3.5 and 2.5 drives and mandatory cable routing. It is deep enough behind the mainboard not only to keep the wiring clean, but there are actually spots to mount hard drives. The last picture is of the different looking back to the case due to the turned mainboard.
Stay with us as we give one more case a feature the newest entry in the Fortress series.
