As with most tasks that XPTB and I set out to accomplish, things rarely go as anticipated... and this trip is no exception. Our last update was just four hours into the trip. It is now 16 hours later and we have just left Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our journey to this point is as follows.
We made a quick pit stop for food then hit the road once again. The majority of the night driving went pretty well... that is, until everyone got tired.
XPTB has certainly seen better days. What about Striker777?
Yeah, this guy has got the right idea. Little did we know (ok so maybe we had checked the weather map)... but for the sake of story.... little did we know what was waiting for us just outside of Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
Yep, snow, and lots of it. We pulled off at a gas station around 4 a.m. to wait until daybreak.
Everyone decided to catch a few zzzZZZzzz's... except me. Yeah, I was wide awake, yey.
We gassed up at daybreak and headed out...
As you can see, things got worse...
... before they got better. The scenery was something worth seeing, however.
Once the snow tapered off, it was smooth sailing up until this point. So, until the next update, be sure to hit us up in the forum! We look forward to hearing from you all!
