The OCZ Technology / Shuttle Overclockerfest was the second party we attended in as many days. The party took place Monday night from 9 p.m. until midnight on the 29th floor of the Bellagio Hotel.



The Bellagio Suite had an excellent view of the Vegas strip.



OCZ hosted their party in one room with Shuttle's party directly across the hall. We will cover OCZ's party here and if time permits this week, we will book a meeting with Shuttle to check out their new product lineup. OCZ had their products on display during the party. Since they do not have a booth on the convention floor, we decided to look at their products while at the party.



First up from OCZ is a 2,000 watt power supply. Yes, you read that correctly... 2,000 watts! While more for show than practicality, the PSU (tentatively named Hyper Xtreme) unit is external, sitting outside of your computer case. The Hyper Xtreme requires two power cords... the catch here being that you can't run both cords on the same electrical circuit.
