Z Cinéma Advanced Surround Sound System

Many computer users would like to have surround sound but setting up rear speakers can be a hassle or next to impossible. For this reason, Logitech has created the Z Cinéma Advanced Surround Sound System. This 2.1 dynamic sound system features SRS TruSurround HD, an 8-inch sub woofer, two-way satellite speakers and three amplifiers.

SRS TruSurround HD enables the Z Cinéma to create a surround sound experience without the need for rear speakers. This technology also enhances dialogue by making voices clear and intelligible. Laser tuning was used to create drivers that have far less distortion than acoustically tuned drivers. One-inch tweeters and three-inch ventilated mid woofers have been put into each satellite speaker. High-, mid- and low-range frequencies are delivered with accuracy and clarity using hybrid Class AB and Class D amplifiers.

The Z Cinéma receives sound information using a 24-bit digital audio USB connection. A 3.5mm auxiliary input and easily accessible headphone jack have been built into this speaker system. Logitech's Z Cinéma produces 180-watts of total RMS power and includes a media remote for convenience. High-Performance surround sound without rear speakers will be available this January for $299.99.
