3DMark 06 and Cinebench

The 3DMark series are probably the most popular benchmarks out there today. A complete 3DMark score includes testing various parts of a system, not just the video cards, for its overall performance.

In 3DMark 06, we find a nice performance boost of about 33%. Though this isn't spectacular, it's certainly nothing to complain about.

Cinebench R10

Cinebench is an OpenGL GPU benchmark. Unlike the 3DMark series, Cinebench is not a whole system test, but rather just the GPU. This test provides a quick camera movement through a small OpenGL world with a video camera in a hallway.

Again, like Lightsmark, we see a test that doesn't take advantage of having multiple GPUs. The lower score indeed suggests bad drivers, which do not recognize when a one GPU scenario would be optimal, or cannot take advantage of the situation.
